nnn; At my local theater they let the audiences rate the movies they just saw in the sneak preview and then compile a chart (most to least liked) that they update weekly.

When I went to see Fantastic Beasts on the weekend I looked at the chart and saw that The Witch ranked as the third least liked movie they've shown in the sneak preview this year (over 40 movies).

It really is one of those movies the critics peed their panties over, but no actual real life person actually enjoys.

It has a particular audience. I know a lot of people that watched it didn't like it because of the accents and because of how long it was with no real horror until the end.

It's not for everyone, but I really enjoyed that movie.

There are 4 in the main series and then there is the spin-off series Prometheus.
This is a sequel to Prometheus, which is set 10 years after as a colony ship, Covenant, travels to a dark world previously thought to be a paradise, where they encounter the sole inhabitant, the synthetic David from the first film.

They are planning on making a fifth Alien movie with Ripley and everyone but it was put on hold as Ridley Scott makes the Prometheus series.
