Yeah but SMD is too different from what Adele usually does, i'm sure after the whole thing with WWWY not connecting that well they want something safe. AIA is literally that since it would be a SLY 2.0 and WUTB is not too far off either.

It's arguable that WWWY stalled because it's exactly what Adele usually does. SML being different is an advantage. I know a lot of friends who like it as well. GP would appreciate it from Adele.

SML being the best selling track off of 25 does not mean it could do well though. Water Under the Bridge could also be a hit.

They could be using it as an album seller, which would make sense. People are clearly here more for it than WWWY.
They should go with WUTB, it's fantastic and different, and has done better than SML in most of countries since the release (even before being performed months ago).
Million Years Ago has shown potential WW. SML screams big US hit since Americans go crazy for Martin's production but honestly I see it just bring some more single sales.

The Grammys performance got it to #24.
