Listened to all the new tracks on my way to work this morning and they were all quite good.. One of them bored me, but the rest were surprisingly bops. I haven't listened to them enough to know them by name, but when I do I'll give a more detailed review.

I kid you not...was thinking the same thing yesterday. They could have just released to iTunes and let Johnny Wright book their promo appearances, etc. I don't get it either.

There really is no "label". It's a distribution deal. Yes it's back by the label, but the label is doing nothing but distributing the project in a bigger way than originally intended.

^Yeah, but they don't have physical copies though...lol. Other than the ones in their online store.

Just seems like a waste. They probably wouldn't even push that many physical copies anyways. That's probably why Dawn never resigned her distribution deal.

W/ internet...and everything moving to streaming...it's a little pointless.

"Recycled outdated trash" is when I should have stopped reading your post.

The girls went for a dance and alternative feel inspired by Euro acts and the 80s. I feel they accomplished that. Nothing they created sounds like what you hear on the radio, no recycled EDM beat drops, they strayed from the formula of DK and they focused on doing something different. I'm sorry you feel like it's "recycled outdated trash" but i respectfully disagree.

It's fresh. It's exciting. It's not what I expected from them. But everyone has a right to their opinion. I get it. Wish you enjoyed it more.

I agree. I imagine whatever they're selling online in their package is going to be the extent of physical copies. Maybe at their shows I can see them being for sale. I agree with you last note about the Internet.

I don't know the in's and out's of DDs, esp there's - but I guess it was the right move for them in the end.

It's not like they would have mass inventory printed. But I'm sure the deal will enable them to have some physical CDs in a chain or two. It also helps with digital distribution and placement in iTunes, Google store and other platforms.

I admit, I had a hard time digesting it at first. But after a while you start getting in tune to the vibe and what they're doing this time around.
