Greatest Pokemon Master Season 2: The Official Battling System
For those who played last season you'd know that the our "battling" system was a bit of a mess considering it consisted of me using a whole bunch of randomizers to determine weather your pokemons attack was hit or missed and which attack they used and if they got poison etc, the point is that is was huge big mess and took forever to post along with my iconic summaries of the battles, an example of my slayage below .
Quote:
Bulbasuar Vs Igglypuff
Im not even gonna try to summarize this life giving battle Someone should tell this pimple lookin pokemon uglybuff that singing ain't gettin ha anywhere cause that's what this whole battle was, A sleeping Bulbasuar against a Yoodling Pimple,
Was The Pimple Poped though?
After singing and using pound, and body slam this hoe started using copycat when ain't no one was after ha, the good sis Bulbasuar finally woke up though and razor leafed ha ass to victory, congrats you're moving to on to Round 3
Moving forward this season of Greatest Pokemon Master will have a new and revamped Battle System that is more efficient and spices up this game! The first obvious change Is that this season we will be using Pokemon Showdown to conduct our battles and with this I trust each and every player will be play fair and true and be able to report to me who wins/loses a battle and keeps track of their Pokemons.
When battling each of your pokemon will start off at level 1 and everyone is responsible for keeping track of their Pokemon's stats honestly. The way evolving will work in this game is that after a few number of battles your Pokemon will level up and so forth as of right now it'll take 5 - 7 battles to level up from 1- 10 and we will be using the actual evolution level of your pokemon to determine when it evolves. Along with this Battling will also be the newest way to win more Pokedollars for yourselves! Everytime one of you's wins a battle against one another you get to "spin" for a random winning of Pokedollars, the amounts will get higher the more leveled up your are and if you lose a battle you'll also lose pokedollars but not such a dramatic amount.
Also to be fair I know not everyone whose signed up is super skilled when it comes to competitive battling and knowing how to manage their pokemons EV and stats to their advantage so depending how big the number of experience players there are I might split you guys into groups from experience and inexperience and have you battle those in your leagues.
Lastly, to be fair in this game I will allow each player to give ONE of their pokemon a set of moves for free however for the rest of your team you will need to spend $$$ in order to gain attacks for them. How that will work is that the starting price for one attack will be 20Pokedollars but for your next attack it'll be 40 and the next 80 and lastly the last attack will be worth 100$. Also the battles will be schedule so it's not just a huge mess of all of you running around and battling non stop, for the beginning i'll pair you up with someone who you'll battle unless you're all capable of deciding who you wanna battle and can set up a schedule among yourselves .. .
