Special is an alternative rock song by Garbage and it is the 3rd single from their album version 2.0. This is the 2nd to the last track of Garbage that is eliminated in this rate. I feel bad for Garbage. The song was cute and a bop. I had to relistened to this track and it was really good. I really love the meaning of Special because it was about a betrayal of a friend and the line "I thought you were special" is really striking. The video was really innovative and creative too.Their songs is really great but due to the audience of ATRL and considering its a pop forum, people would just overlook their masterpieces.

I thought this song is cute. Its a certified bop with a strong message behind it.
But the problem is i just cant the song at all. The harmonization is just a mess to be honest. It sounds like a DC reject tbh. Her album "Simply Deep" is a mess vocally and sonically. It sounds like a DC album that was supposed to be recorded but just got lost due to it being so bad. But this song is an exception. I had to relisten to the track and it was actually listenable and pretty decent. The production still sounds underproduced and muddy but ok. The underlying message behind it made me actually cry because of the message about the aftermath of suicide and school shooting. Poor kelly. If i could turn back time
