Since her debut "Broke With Expensive Taste" will be released yet later this year, on 2012, this amazing mixtape has to tide me over of the anticipation! On the rap lane, she is definitely my favorite artist as of the moment! I just love everything about her especially her ratchetness and her personality! So "Fantasea" was basically like a testing album for Azealia and was created out of her love for the fans among circle of friends, and I really admire her for doing this, for delivering always new music. Anyways, "Esta Noche" or (This Night) was an instant favorite for me in this mixtape, I didn't expected how much I will love it especially in first listen! Its more of singing Azealia but hey, the brilliant inclusion of Montell Jordan is definitely the standout of the pulsating electronic production! And sometimes, my top favorite would be "Luxury" which features her chocolatey-rich lazy singing voice over some whispering and some whistling all over! Overall, this track reminds me of the 90's a bit and thats why I love it! Now let's get to the faster rapping, and definitely one of my favorite flows is of that of "**** Up the Fun", with Diplo's tribal beat production of Azealia's effortless fast delivery of the verses is one of my early and still current favorites! The next fave of mine "Runnin'" features one of her fastest take on rapping on the verses, listen if you wanna hear how fast..lol! and that alone makes it as one of my faves, along its sing along silly lines and the runnin' part! "Aquababe" features some interesting whale sounds on the backing track and some tunes that sounds like popping underwater bubbles! Not to mention, her wordplay on the verses, rhyme, and flow is just outstanding! One of the standouts definitely! for me. Another great production is evident on "Nathan" which features Styles P. This song delivers some sexual hinting themes if you give some meaning to it "Jumanji" lives up to its title as it offers drum like production and the song overall reminds me one of those fanfare circus sounds! an interesting track to listen to! "Us" is the most prominent song where it features Azealia's singing vocals the most and with rap inclusions still, actually her tone is very pleasant! more pleasant than Nicki imo Songs along with "Chips" and "Fierce" very much reminds me of those 90's underground club songs and are prime examples of the hip house genre in this mixtape. In "L8R", Azealia's delivery reminds me of an early Lil Kim in her days and I really love the shout-out in the end for the ratchet bitches over a lounging classy instrumental. The mixtape closer "Salute" is another one that reminds me of Lil' Kim, as it is one of the more aggressive sounding track off the album. "Imma Read" had me cackling at the beginning with that random "Zebra ****ing Katz" mention in a weird tone as it follows a hypnotizing beat with low rapping vocals. "Fantasea" , the title track features high pitch vocal distortions, and Azealia just goes hard in this track! That repetition of the word "Fantasea" is a hot mess in the track imo . The opener "Out of Space" has that classic Prodigy production and in the middle, a bouncing reggae number already makes a welcome treat! "Atlantis" features a solid production, yet again an evident example of a witch-pop track. "Paradiso", though I hate it for being so short, features really some nice groove production that acts as a prelude to the sound that closely resembles "Luxury", the next track after. "Neptune" is like the sister of Atlantis in this mixtape, though I really like Azealia's part, I dont like much the chorus and the reverbs on the track are too much Shystie's surprise appearance reminds me of Alesha Dixon's rapping actually! And last, the track "Azealia Skit" features a classy lite production while Azealia shout-outs her thanks to the listeners, the fans, all involved to make this project! Really a sweet thing to do! Somehow, I found it a rare to include it as a track because there would be no credits written, so in a form of a track, Azealia says it all. Ranking the tracks in the middle of the order was actually hard for me since I think most of the songs are equally amazing! Listening to this honestly, just feels like listening to an actual album already, but there's more for Azealia to deliver, I just know it, but if you want to listen and be interested to her talent, this is definitely a recommended Hear her incredible flow and give this one a listen!

RANKING OF TRACKS:
01. "Radioactive"
02. "Uneasy"
03. "Hot Right Now" (DJ Fresh featuring Rita Ora)
04. "How We Do (Party)"
05. "Young, Single & Sexy"
06. "Facemelt"

12. "Been Lying"
13. "Fall in Love" (featuring will.i.am)
14. "Love and War" (featuring J. Cole)
15. "Hello, Hi, Goodbye" |
Next on the list is one of my most anticipated debuts by a new artist! "Ora" by Ms. Rita O, the album title signifies as "time" in her own language. Anyways, this album was a great one for her, but I can't deny I was a little, just a little disappointed, but the major tracks prevailed and won me over of the album. My most favorite off the album, is the amazing "Radioactive", the current single, and despite its cheap video, it doesnt take over that the song is her best in my opinion. It's just because whenever I listen to this one, my spirit just lifts up and it just gives me good vibes. And the chorus with "palms to the sky" chanting with Rita's powerful delivery is very empowering for me! I would definitely be disappointed if this song wouldnt take off and smash Next fave would be "Uneasy", it was the track that I was really hooked upon on first listen, I was like what is that?! Rita channels ala Cher Lloyd/Jessie J teas over in this especially the verses and only later I've known that this was written by the Ting Tings. Overall this is just a hot track that I really love!. Next fave would have to be the collaboration with DJ Fresh "Hot Right Now", which is my introductory song for her music! Really love it, and it gave me that trademark Rita vocals that I l continue to love, not to mention, it is the 1st UK #1 song which was pure drum and bass! "How We Do" , previously known as Party and ******** reached #1 on my weekly chart during the album leak weak as it was her current single. This song is just a total party smasher! Next fave of mine is "Young, Single & Sexy" which sounds like a combination of "Hate That I Love You" by Rihanna and "Irreplaceable" by Beyonce, not surprising as all three are written and produced by Stargate, same producer!. Just love its message that i can apply on myself The introductory track "Facemelt" is like a urban version of Radioactive, I wish it was much more longer but otherwise, I really like the in-your-face attitude of this song and the final moments are just The second single and another #1 "R.I.P", are one of the songs that I love dedicating as if it's the song that I would play unto my haters Love the swag of Rita and Tinie Tempah on this track! "Crazy Girl" courtesy by Diplo on production is another highlight for its amazing, futuristic sound, with hot vocals of Rita!. "Shine Ya Light", though I dont like it as a single, I have respect for this one as it has a special meaning for Rita and probably just for the message of the song, its actually very uplifting! Just listen to the chorus, its Rita's own take on songs ala "Firework" by Katy Perry "Roc the Life", was a jam that I like that is somehow like riding and rocking your life! "Meet Ya", sounds one of the songs that like Destiny's Child/Beyonce would sing! Rita actually does sound like her in this one! Love it! "Been Lying" is one of those songs that I really like its overall feel, I love its bridge, chorus and its overall structure. "Fall in Love" featuring will.i.am. sounds like a hot mess at some parts, but I dont really mind because its kinda crazy. "Hello, Hi, Goodbye" while a cute ballad, is just only subpar compared to the rest and "Love and War" with J.Cole, umm , I expected much more in this one, but I dont like its vocals and the song isn't really that interesting for me And that's how why there is some little disappointments on this great effort!

This was probably one of the most interesting lead singles that I anticipated this year! I really like the message it conveys as said in the title! And Ellie's voice in the track is very unique and particularly that squeaky dolphin like note in the chorus is cute The video gives me ethereal teas and everything about the visuals and the concept are really stunning! Now that her previous song smashed, I would definitely lobby with this one as a follow up! Hoping for it!

DEAD at that member that every line of this song is about Rihanna Anyways, this empowering single was A.Keys' most successful yet since her #1 hit "No One". Props to her also for releasing 3 versions of the song, which caters to different styles and preferences. Mine would be actually the Bluelight since her voice just shines all throughout with its mellowness! But hey, lets give credit to the vocal extent of Ms. AK on the chorus of this one! Good that she didnt rupture her chords and the Inferno Version with Nicki's assistance well, gives another hot flaming flavor! This song's ON

Now this single was my favorite song off their album which was released last year! Of all sorts of kinds, Amy's vocals are heavenly at the start and ascends to a powerful climax on the bridge! Slayage! Though the video could've been more good, the song is just too good for words! Was one of the very rare and few rock singles of 2012 that reached #1 on my chart considering that rock isn't my primary thing! Shame that it didnt damage the charts but anyways, for this epicness!
