The way they killed her was probably to sloppy for their liking so they only got mediocre rewards.

Theres nothing wrong with belonging to a Masonic lodge. Not everyone who is a Freemason is associated with the Illuminati, if such a group still exists and still goes by that name. Ages ago, there was a secret society and they infiltrated Freemasonry. So, within this group there was another group with another agenda. Rich people are going to hang together and do rich people things, but that doesn't mean they're part of this so called Illuminati! It's more like there are people behind these people pushing other, more sinsister, agendas!
