When she started out she had this indie vibe going on which I liked. But success got to her head and developed this inflated ego and became over the top outrageous which was completely unnecessary. Let your own music speak for you.

I think the reason why Taylor and early-Britney earned many fans is because they go out there and do their thing, regardless of their voice, and don't really expect anything. Everything just kinda fell into place.

This is entirely your opinion, I respect it, but GaGa is a weird person naturally. She's said that over and over. She is a spazz. For her to stand still and look pretty would be fake. It's like asking KISS to take off their makeup.

I think both gaga and britney had some kind of breakdowns before,
and it's lovely to see that both of the girls have overcome their difficulties and grown up stronger.

I doubt she would have the balls (no pun intended, haha) to appear at an awards show with her face covered and a frog as her date if she weren't as successful as she is now. Normally you would have to be well-established and have paid your dues to be able to do these things, and Gaga isn't that. She still has a loooong way to go. She is talented and her music is great, but I'd take music over image any day. It's overshadowing her work.
