BEP had a Katy Perry moment last year and barely even pushed 200k the first week even with all the hype they had last year AND two #1s before their album dropped. They had longevity which mainly from Casual listeners over time [Same with Rihanna]. . .

Even if they had a HUGE last album. . .I don't know if there are 250k+ ACTUAL BEP stans that will rush out for the album.

But BEP have yet to release a new single. It is hard to measure how well they will do yet because..well, we don't even know the reception for the single. Which is why I don't know if the November 16th date is confirmed at all.

There are less co-writers/collaborators to account for this time. Plus, promo for Taylor isn't nearly as expensive as it is for Katy or GaGa for obvious reasons so there's less money for the label to recoup.
