No, it's not. There's a lot of K-Pop songs that i don't like because i find the production to be too loud for my taste, but there are a few songs that i like, like Mr. Simple by Super Junior.
Generally speaking, me liking or not liking a song has more to do with the production than the language or the lyrics.
There's this one song by a Malaysian girl group that i really enjoy even though i still don't know what the lyrics say. The production in it is amazing, it sounds really fresh:

Nope. It's about language barrier than anything. At least K-pop still has noticeable global followers outside East Asia. Can't say the same about other languages other than English tho.
