It is really, really funny about how irrelevant the Jonas Brothers have gotten in just two years. In 2008, they were one of the most over-hyped and popular bands in the American music industry. Now?

I doubt Katy's album is going to freefall. She has two huge hits right now that are going to support her sales.
Definitely. Plus they are already planning the third single, which means they are going to get a video shot so it is the best release time for promo for the album.

Eminem also had two hit singles and he still fell over 50% in his second week. Obviously, I only meant Katy's second week, the album is probably going to have some amazing longevity for the rest of its chart run.

Recovery is a bad example: it had a soft second week drop compared to most new releases today. The typical second week decline is now like 60-70%, I think.
We'll see, but I don't think Katy's album will be seeing any sharp sales drops in its run at all.
Disturbed have a new album coming out on the 24th so I wouldn't count on Eminem returning to #1. They debuted at #1 and sold over 250,000 copies first week with each of their last three albums.
