You're trying to look a things from a small, isolated incident scale and completely ignoring what systematic racism is. It's built into legislation, it's what allows white people to benefit from better opportunities starting from the day they are born. You're trying to equate a Black person not giving a white person a job or calling them a name with hundreds of years of white privilege that is embedded in this country.

& 50 years ago MOST* white people were born in an environment that treated minorities as inferior.

They were taught not to marry or mingle with them.

Minorities had to fight for years to get hired at the same jobs that white people have been doing for YEARS.

POC can't be racist to whites*. Tbh I don't really care or endorse how anyone chooses to define racism. It shouldn't be the focus of discussion. But considering the way the term reverse racism is so popular it is clear that many whites want pretend that their experiences are similar to that of POC. It trivialises the actual instances of racism that affect peoples lives day to day. Which is why people are so adamant on divding the majority and minority groups when discussing the matter.

Yes, the white girl in the Race and Social Justice club who is the one who uploaded the videos and the only reason this thread even exists felt that he was being disrespectful and not meaning to mock anyone. Seeing as how she actually saw his presentation I will take her word over anyone else's. The fact that it is black history month does make his presentation more insensitive however he could have been following an assignment or not realized the timing, there is no proof that he meant to antagonize, disrespect or mock anyone he only meant to share and debate an opinion.
