I listen to "Future People" all day.
That's only somewhat a pun.

Sophie I hated the backlash against product for really stupid reasons too, it's like people were afraid to embrace it.
I expected more from Purity Ring, but I mean a sophomore slump isn't uncommon and I think they can come back.
OMG Picture This It's so amazing I'm glad you enjoy (also lmk if you want Kpop or Jpop recs because I love giving recommendations).

Perfect picks from Sophie's album!
All Day is great and I totally forgot about the Blood Orange song but it was really good. Pissed I didn't include it in my Best Of. Miike Snow's new song is also quite nice. This remix of it is really good too!

125. Empress Of, "How Do You Do It"
This uptempo, synth-heavy number was a late bloomer while compiling the list, I didn't realize it was treated as a single. But this won't be Empress' last entry!
124. Calvin Harris, "How Deep Is Your Love (feat. Disciples)"
Listen Here
123. Allan Rayman, "Tennessee"
But wait, that voice... this beat... it's not suppose to sound so good together. Finally appropriation done right.
122. Majid Jordan, "My Love (feat. Drake)"
Listen Here
121.Madeon, "Pay No Mind (feat. Passion Pit)"
Passion Pit didn't have a good year for me, nothing connected, nothing was as good as their last effort but this feature. Even though it was released at the top of the year it's so funky, beach ready and has some Daft Punk influence. This makes up for Kindred.
120. Drake & Future, "Jumpman"
Listen Here
119. Etta Bond, "Seen and Never Heard"
This has such a 90's vibe - get use to me saying this in the future of this countdown. "Seen and Never Heard" is so simple yet low-key feminist female empowering.
118. Years & Years, "Shine"
Listen Here
117. Chairlift, "Ch-Ching"
This is their "90s Music" (Kimbra). This was hella fun and different from their elegant and sophisticated debut. I'm looking forward to their upcoming album. "Romeo" is also looking like it'll have impact in 2016
116. Lady Leshurr, "Queen's Speech 4"
Glad I can say that I discovered this before the Galaxy Commercial. The production is on some early 2000 Ludacris mess and her lyrics pretty much gives us a Year In Review of 2015 (Caitlyn Jenner, Rachel Dolzer, Fetty Wop). It's just a dope bragging freestyle that's not to be taken serious.
115. SOPHIE, "Vyzee"
Listen Here
114. Marina and the Diamonds, "Blue"
Listen Here
125. Empress Of, "How Do You Do It"
124. Calvin Harris, "How Deep Is Your Love (feat. Disciples)"
123. Allan Rayman, "Tennessee"
122. Majid Jordan, "My Love (feat. Drake)"
121. Madeon, "Pay No Mind (feat. Passion Pit)"
120. Drake & Future, "Jumpman"
119. Etta Bond, "Seen and Never Heard"
118. Years & Years, "Shine"
117. Chairlift, "Ch-Ching"
116. Lady Leshurr, "Queen's Speech 4"
115. SOPHIE, "Vyzee"
114. Marina and the Diamonds, "Blue"

"How Deep Is Your Love" is good. I feel like Calvin Harris makes dance music for adults. There's a sophistication and maturity to his sound.

113. Jones, "Hoops"
This is a graceful pop song that starts off warm and restrained with a yearning vocal over subtly dreamy instrumentation that teases you with a little build up/uptempo moments.
112. Jordin Sparks, "They Don't Give"
Listen Here
111. Ryn Weaver, "The Fool"
Listen Here
110. Janelle Monáe, "Yoga (feat. Jidenna)"
Janelle, what's good? You can't just drop a bop on us and bounce. This is more of a modern and club-heavy track. This is nothing like her previous work on her amazing concept albums.
109.Adele, "Hello"
Listen Here
108. Milk & Bone, "Pressure"
Listen Here
107. Tink, "Million"
"Million" is Tink's first official R&B song treated to the mainstream audiences and uses a sample of classic "One in a Million". It really showcases her versatility and Timbaland put a nasty mix to this own original record. I'm still waiting for Tink to actually do something.
106. Jamie Woon, "Sharpness"
Listen Here
105. Waxahatchee, "Air""
Don't get fooled by the gnarled guitars and the hard punk drumming at the beginning, this track is pretty much like its title and sounds like '90s indie pop.
104. Logic, "Young Jesus (feat. Big Lenbo)"
Listen Here
103. Lianne La Havas, "Green & Gold"
I know ya'll tired of the slow songs but I've been a sucker for them this year. This is such a beautiful, reflective, jazz-pop track that resonated with me more than her lead single "Unstoppable" and the more upbeat "What You Don't Do".
102. Chance The Rapper, "Angels (feat. Saba)"
Listen Here
101. Wet, "Weak"
I got into just this early fall and everything I've heard from them has been great stuff. It’s a gorgeous song, kind of gives me early 2000's vibes. Like I can hear this being played in between Vanessa Carlton and Michelle Branch or something (not saying this sounds like them but you get me).
113. Jones, "Hoops"
112. Jordin Sparks, "They Don't Give"
111. Ryn Weaver, "The Fool"
110. Janelle Monáe, "Yoga (feat. Jidenna)"
109. Adele, "Hello"
108. Milk & Bone, "Pressure"
107. Tink, "Million"
106. Jamie Woon, "Sharpness"
105. Waxahatchee, "Air"'
104. Logic, "Young Jesus (feat. Big Lenbo)"
103. Lianne La Havas, "Green & Gold"
102. Chance The Rapper, "Angels (feat. Saba)"
101. Wet, "Weak"

Hello was the only song from 25 that really stood out with me
Yoga was a bop! Nice to see Air, Sharpness, and Angels on the list too. Great picks!

I really liked My Love a lot. I thought it was a great song, with some of Drake's best singing. Hello, Young Jesus, Angels, and Jumpman are really great also
The Foals and the Shakes are great too of course I think if I had to chose between Holy Fire and What Went Down, I'd go with Holy Fire, both are great though.
And happy holidays.

AMAZING couple of updates! How Do You Do It is my current favorite from the album, but it's about to be overtaken by a few other songs. And I literally have the exact same sentiment with Pay No Mind/Passion Pit. Look at us having twin brains with music. Ch-Ching is fantastic (calling it their 90's Music is soooo fitting). Vyzee and Blue are both some of my favorite 2015 songs too.
Green and Gold is (spoiler) my favorite from Lianne's album, which I really liked, and Hello is also quite good. Foals was okay and Alabama Shakes was a good album to me.
Merry Christmas too, buddy!

The Fool, Yoga and Hello
I've only heard Deadwater from Wet this year. I'll listen to that one later on. :alkitu:

Hope you all had a great Christmas Guys.
I'll be changing the format as we enter the top 100, I don't like this current one. My pages slow down too.
