Overall I liked their singles throughout the year (the album is kind of weak though). I wish they had the "Radioactive" success all over again, but sadly it wasn't the case. "Shots" is great, but their lead is much better.

I love Gaga and I was a Little Monster until ARTPOP came and I loved this effort from her. However, I wish she didn't use that side of her voice as I know she can do much better. The song became, therefore, an unemotional mess which was definitely not its purpose. It still has an inspiring message though.
Troye's singles are great and I definitely should re-check his album. "Fools" is therefore a great song and the video is also extremely sad and emotional. He is definitely one of the more creative mainstream-ish artists today.

Brandon was great this year! "Lonely Town" is my least favourite single from "The Desired Effect" mostly because of the annoying auto-tune, but let's be honest, it's still a great song.
