Yeah, Monica had a show on BET, which garners how many viewers compared to Idol and Oprah? Regardless of that, Christina should be opening up with 200k based on her name. But since Monica isn't a good comparison, then what about Erykah Badu? She didn't have a BET reality show or a huge R&B smash, yet she opened up with 110k. Like I said, excuses...

Erykah has a solid fanbase she has been around since the mid 90's... plus the WIndow Seat video got her lots of publicity.
