People from all fans groups are criticising Taylor in this, and other, threads. The one who in actuality looks bothered is yourself for not being able to contemplate that your fave just won't allow herself to stop talking about the ANONYMOUS FEMALE SINGER WHICH NO-ONE KNOWS THE IDENTITY OF. She controls her image and her own mouth: if she didn't want this brought up time and again, it wouldn't be and then maybe she really could move on, but alas.

This makes no sense. Oh Taylor girl... I read somewhere she's taking a decently sized break after the 1989 tour and that's the move because overexposure is real and the tide is about to turn soon. Wildest Dreams slays me but her as a person... she's starting to become grating

I am not bothered at all. I think it is somewhat amusing to see people express their jealousy of Taylor crushing their faves by raging about her over the slightest triviality on atrl and picking up WPs and bans. It makes Taylor's success all the more sweeter to savour.
I especially liked the part of the GQ interview where Taylor is described as 'the most significant pop artist of the modern age'. Taylor keeps on getting acclaim and praise and the pressed on atrl keep getting WPs. That doesn't bother me at all. It continues to be a great year!

What she is saying is that if she didn't specifically clarify about this song, it will be grouped with most of the other songs in the album(about harry). So, the obvious guess from everyone will be harry which is not true as it is about friendship and not relationship. Basically, she did what Ed did while releasing Don't. Ed specifically mentioned it is not abt Taylor because she will be the obvious guess and it is not true. In order to ensure that everyone knows that harry is not the inspiration for this song, she gave a little too much info which the fans knew about her and Katy. Also, if you look closely she is still shading Katy for outing herself with that cryptic tweet. In short she is saying that it is katy's fault for confirming the guesses when all she did was save a innocent target for this song.

You know, Taylor shouldn't have told the sabotage story to Rolling Stone, we would still know it was about Katy because we know the dancer's drama but it would be more of a speculation, we would never be sure.
I think she regrets spilling that every day, Katy is a human who made a mistake, she deserves to be forgiven and I wish the Swifties were ready to see that as I am.
