It's honestly because of her commercial success. More success breeds more haters. Every song from this album has been good to great to fantastic in its own right.

Most of the songs this era have been pretty derivative.
When I heard she was working with Max Martin this era I was honestly thrilled because I love both of them, but it's really just not working out.
Hmmm. This is not at all what I expected. I was thinking it would be some massive track and it's just a bit lackluster. The verses are fantastic, but the chorus is severely lacking. I think the main problem is that when many of us heard she was working with Max, we prepared ourselves for some properly major pop tracks. Nothing thus far has stood out. It feels a bit like he gave her some of his castoffs originally meant for other artists.
It's really cute. I like it. It's not the typical explosive Max Martin track but I can really appreciate this. Her adlibs in the last chorus are unreal and took me by surprise.
