has radio been supporting the singles this era? this is such a relatable song i'd be shocked if it doesn't end up doing well, the fact that it's also great is a plus.

I agree with the meaning of the music video being the GP/mainstream music industry is ignoring her. Now reading the lyrics it makes so much sense. I feel like she's basically saying she's becoming an indie artist now.

I Really Like You probably did have a reasonable budget, which Scooter probably splurged on Tom Hanks, leaving the rest to be desired. What's interesting about seeing Tom Hanks lip-sync to the song? There wasn't even anything else going on. A true missed opportunity. As for Your Type, it's budget is deceiving, probably. They're not going to need to be paying for any outdoor scenes, and renting out a stingy underground bar for a few hours isn't a major setback money wise. Do you know how easy it is to make a DSLR shoot look as good as a film, it's all in the editor.

Tori definitely got the better deal. I want to say I understand though, it's her debut era, it's more crucial for her now to find success to stabilise her career in the future. But, being a little bitter, I'd have preferred to have seen it go to Carly.

Also IRLY had a few high-profile performances.

It's a shame for Tori who needed success for her debut era and got a mixed bag. 2 flop singles but a good debut week for her album.

- Her rise and fall from fame is truly a modern Cinderella story (coincidentally she once starred as Cinderalla in Broadway)
- She's performing in small venues when she should be performing on the big stages with people cheering for her (the fantasy)
- But once thing never changed - she still has one of the biggest hits of all time, the best pop album of 2015 and the undeniable talent (the fantasy boots didn't disappear)

Well it was only because the entire Cumulus network (a small group of stations) added it at once. I can't be sure whether it was a label push that caused that, but it probably was. Cumulus is desperate for money though so they probably have a lot of deals going on right now

Either way, a Cumulus deal isn't going to get you ****. They're such a fail as a company.
