Miley went around twerking just like every other race doing the fad. Like now the new fad is whip nae nae. And Miley still listens to hip-hop and hangs around the same people she's been hanging with since she started working on her last record
She said she never heard a Jay-Z song almost 6 years ago. People listen and try new things it's not like she's out here acting like she knows everything about him or is his #1 fan
Miley agreed with Nicki the only thing she didn't agree on was the way Nicki went about it. She said if she wants the results she needs to talk to people like they're actually people
She shouldn't have caused such a mess putting popstars against one another only defeats the purpose of shedding light on such a sensitive topic. The headline won't be "Nicki talks racial issues in pop world" it will be "Nicki vs Taylor" which exactly what it was and therefore it came off as self-serving which Miley may not think it was self-serving, but I know for a fact it was
