Blake McGrath becomes the first SOLO male artist to Top my A - List 30 since it debuted March 6, 2009. Last year, 3OH!3 topped the list for one week with "Don't Trust Me". However, they were a male DUO. So Blake, makes it #1 as a solo artist. Also, he is the first MALE LGBT artist to top the list (he happens to be bisexual).
Last week was a busy week for me. I was on Fall Break for two days, and then I had Choir Rehearsal Wednesday, followed by an ALL 11th Grader business/future field trip event. To top it all off, Thursday and Friday was the first choir show of the year, not to mention MY FIRST CHOIR SHOW I GOT TO PERFORM IN! WOO! And tonite I'm heading to my THIRD PARTY I WAS INVITED TO THIS YEAR! YES!
Since the Choir Show left me no time to update yesterday, here's the October 8th 2010 countdown. We will say goodbye to 3 songs that retire this week. In addition, 2 songs fell out of the countdown to make way for two debuts. We will also have a special spotlight, for songs that I love, like, or have been a part of something in my life in someway.

News
Because of my lack of interest in them anymore, two songs fall out of my countdown this week, and they are certainly not returning. They are Somethin' About Love by David Archuleta, and Teenage Dream by Katy Perry.
David has never been a favorite of mine. On occasion, he's a got a good song, and sometimes an AMAZING song. His best song in my opinion is Desperate, which is really the only song by him I would give a 10/10. ALTNOY got 1/10, Touch My Hand got 3/10, Crush got 6/10 and Zero Gravity got 9/10. Somethin' About Love was a 6/10, which is why I lost interest in it quickly.
Teenage Dream by Katy Perry was a good song...before the album was released. Once the album was released however...every song on that album overshined the singles. Teenage Dream just became a boring track to listen to as it descended off my countdown pretty quickly. Plus it reminded me of Jonah (my crush who I'm still having a hard time getting over) and so it just really didn't have a chance. With the song gone, I can make way for newer BETTER songs.
Taking the places of Teenage Dream and Somethin' About Love, are Gonna Get This by Hannah Montana f. Iyaz and Raise Your Glass by P!nk. Gonna Get This is a cool track done Hannah Montana and Iyaz and was recently featured in the most recent episode of Hannah Montana Forever. This song has a teen R & B pop tune to it. It's not my favorite Hannah song BUT it's a lot better than I Wanna Know You, which was with David Archuleta.
Raise Your Glass is by far one of the best singles I have heard from an artist this year that ISN'T underrated. This year, mainstream music for me has been a letdown, because there have been too many male electropop/R&B acts taking shape, as well as Justin Bieber. The only interesting albums to have come out were by Ke$ha, Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, and Selena Gomez & The Scene. Those albums were all really good and all the singles (except for Katy Perry's) were really good even after the came out. While I love Rihanna, the dance pop isn't as good as it was.
P!nk is just kinda a breath of fresh air from all the musical drama this year. It will defenitely go high on my countdown.
3 songs retire this week. Dirty Love by Chris Salvatore, Pyramid by Charice f. Iyaz, and Touch by Natasha Bedingfield.
Touch and Pyramid are the first and third lowest peaking songs to have retired from my countdown, peaking only at #16 and #14 respectively.
Chris Salvatore's Dirty Love is the second highest peak for a Male LGBT Artist or a Male Solo Artist, peaking at #3. The current #1, Blake McGrath, is the highest peaking MALE LGBT artist. While Blake is bi, Chris is completely gay (I think).
And finally, since Thurs. and Fri. were choir shows, here are the songs Mixed Choir (the choir I am in) performed at the Fall Show. The Spotlight will be given to these songs now:
Twist and Shout by The Beatles.
Fame by Irene Cara
Both Performances were so much fun and they came out VERY good. You had to be here.
It's October 15. The Wizards of Waverly Place season finale is TONITE! YAY!
Anyways, we have 7 debuts.

Because of dwindling interest, GaGa and RiRi drop out completely. Chris, Charice, and Natasha all retired. It made way for seven AWESOME songs. I honestly don't have much to say.
