There is no double standard. To me, if it's not on the album it shouldn't count towards the album. That goes for my favs and everyone else. I still wish they'd kept it strictly pure sales but things had to change to accommodate the increase in importance of streaming.

Oh, I agree. I don't think they should count either. But nobody seemed to care when Maroon 5's album got a boost from the Sugar remix is all.
