People are having a kii at this mess flopping because certain fanbases joined forces to shade those ones who are not part of this "movement" some stans are so cocky and off putting that this kind of backlash shouldnt surprise yall anymore tbh. It has nothing to do with the names behind it but their approach towards the service, I mean they made it seem like they found the cure for cancer or something, they overh yped it so much when it launched and stans started to make it seem like youre fave is not in because they are not invited to this mess now that it's getting backlash the same people who are boasting about it are the same ones who are defending it like people are bashing it for no reason. I wanna see this succeed but for now Tidal stans accept that this service will get continuous lashing from the GP and stan world mainly because of yall's fault
Um. You hate tidal because they have paid prescription. So does Netflix. Nobody is forcing me subscribe to Netflix, I can watch shows with other means. So what would be the point of despising such a service so passionately? Idgi

Obviously I am reading a lot of the stuff on Tidal because of Beyoncé's involvement, but I am not dumb enough to let my stan glasses make me think differently about it just because she signed her name to a TIDAL paper. I have had negative opinions about Beyoncé, so don't lull yourself into a fantasy of pills and brainwashing. The logic is simple. If Tidal is greedy, then Prada is greedy. Starbucks is greedy, Dean and Deluca's is greedy, etc. etc. Anything that offers "luxury" product, or overpriced product, or does anything to increase their own profits is greedy. The only ones who are not I guess are non-profit businesses.
If you lack the ability to separate someone's fave from their own opinion though, there's not much else I can say.

Spotify has terrible sound quality, I will never pay for that crap. It's only good for social interaction and staff curated playlists. Tidal on the other hand is garbage pricing

When you pay, there's HQ quality available. I use that and literally detect no difference between it and iTunes.
I'm so glad my faves were smart enough not to jump on that sinking ship
