No, Kelly Clarkson still holds the record for biggest jump to number one from 97 to one. "Womanizer" held the record until "My Life Would Suck Without You" took it. "3" debuted at number one. It is the first non-American Idol single to debut at number one this decade, but it certainly wasn't the first. The first was "You Are Not Alone" by Michael Jackson.

It's an honor for Britney to join such an amazing group, but she still is the first to debut at #1 on the Digital Era. That's the difference between '3' debut and all the others before her, there is no physical release.
