34. Kimbra - The Golden Echo

Kimbra's sophomore album is more than just more of the same. It's a lot of that too, though! She expands her horizons, however, on tracks like 90s Music which is just weird-pop at its finest and then some 80s Funk influence in songs like Madhouse. She tries her hand at more ballads which works well enough I suppose.
33. Ava Luna - Electric Balloon

Ava Luna is a band with a LOT of members, and it's easy to tell. Their songs all sound like they were made from different people, yet there's a magic to this lack of cohesion. The overall sound tying them together is sort of a Dirty Projectors/Talking Heads hybrid that I love, but the songwriting is all very poignant and jaggedly catchy.
