I don't think her's are the worst, but as iconic as many of her videos are, most of Britney's videos are not really that good. I mean, they so closely follow the trends of the time that they age really badly. All her early videos are incredibly cheesy. Her videos of the 2000s are cute but tacky. Her more recent ones are fun perhaps, but too closely related to the fads of the time and her performing ability doesn't sell it as much. Circus is probably her best video by far.

While Britney's music videos are not artistic ala Lady Gaga, her music videos especially during her early years defined the pop culture of the 2000s. She's not really following trends before, she was on her own league and most popstars before copy her ways.

Also, while some of her iconic music videos are basic, there are always things that will be remembered in the music video. For example Baby's catholic school girl uniform, Toxic's diamond suit, Slave's choreography, Oops' red catsuit and out of this world setting, Stronger's chair-dancing, Gimme More's messy-dark themed video, Piece of Me's paparazzi flashing, Womanizer's nude scenes, Circus' whole theme, Hold It Against Me's fight scene, Till The World End's apocalyptic theme, Criminal's sexual imagery and UK controversy and Work Bitch's choreography and Spears' back to form.

While not artistic, these little details made these music videos great. Also, back then, those type of music videos are controversial since we weren't in a much liberated world before. She sexualized bubble gum pop, not something to be proud of but something certainly most people will credit her for.

She basically stood out of the bunch without exaggerating and over analyzing her music videos. She never asked for attention, she just gets it.

Personally I also find it very hard to enjoy her videos because of her performance style. The over-the-top expressions are too much. I can't really vibe with someone making millions, spending thousands on a video, gleefully pretending like she is so darn quaint.

However, I do agree that her videos often have a "sameness". But I think that's a good thing. That is due to Beyoncé having clear control in her videos, because she is the only common factor in the videos throughout an era. And this further speaks to the artistry of her videography. Just like in fashion, a collection is stronger when there is a concept behind them all, and a collection is weaker if it is just a mix-match of styles.

I think he means video's such as XO, No Angel, Jealous, the latter part of Heaven and Blue where it's pretty much Bey walking through a public space with a cameraman behind her without any storyline.
Tbh I think she shot some parts of the visual album without knowing which songs she was gonna use for them and that shows sometimes, which resonates in some video's looking 'same-y'

I hate to say it but it is Taylor out of that list, although if the rest of her videos end up being on the same level as BS then she won't have to worry in future.
