They bought tickets for her tour though. And I find it kind of comical that everyone keeps stressing Gagas downfall yet Gaga at her worst is just being on the level of her peers. She basically sold the same amount of albums as Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus last year whose music and celebrity are arguably more relevant than Gaga at the moment. Meanwhile her tour for this supposed "flop" is one of the top pop tours of the year even despite the album clearly being her weakest commercially.

Yeah, Gagas in a slump in terms of commercial reception. But she has much more promise of turning that around than most artists would. Its even more comical to me that this forum expresses more positivity for someone like Kesha despite her last album being a true flop in the sense of the term because some cheap song she did with Pitbull was forgettably successful but Gaga doesnt stand a chance. Not to be mean or anything, but you're a moron if you think any of these girls are going anywhere. All of these girls have sold between 80m and 170m records WW, and popstars who have sold that much do not just disappear. They don't, end of story.

Beyonce is the most awarded and respected artist of this generation.
Rihanna can churn out hits like nobody's business.
Gaga has sold more and grossed more than any of her contemporaries.
Katy has proven she can adapt to the climate and release hit after hit.
Taylor is a golden child and an unstoppable force with her fanbase.

Like, none of these girls are going anywhere because they've cemented their statuses in the industry. A better question would be, "What will these girls be doing by the end of the decade," because that is something none of us can predict.

Better options would be Nicki, Ke$ha, and other low-tier popstars who are nowhere close to selling what these top-tier popstars have sold.



Rihanna's success is solely reliant on the GP. That is why she always loses when it comes to polls and fan-voted things. ARTPOP has sold over 2.5m copies, most of which come from the fans since the GP didn't react too kindly to the album. If you can sell 2.5m copies without the GP support, you've got an amazing fanbase.
