This song is Pop. Its a Pop melody. The only thing Urban about it is ASAP, lol. But for real...it could have went a more Urban direction w/ vocal adlibs and a different melody for the hook.

I was implying that a song like this would suit Taylor Swift more; not because she could do it better but because it is a more pop-influenced track all about love.

Oh yes silly me for thinking that saying it sounds like Taylor Swift means she has songs that sound like this.
It's very pop. That's what came immediately to mind when I first clicked play on the song. That her team wants her to play both the R&b/Urban and Pop markets with ease.
