Jennifer Hudson
Jennifer Hudson
After a loooong wait, Jennifer finally releases her debut album. I was kinda disappointed with this album, i don't know what exactly i expected from her at all, but i thought this would be better. I don't think her album is bad, it's actually a great album, but you have to be in the right mood to listen to her album and appreciate it, it's not something that makes you want to listen to over and over again and all the time. Pocketbook is AWFUL btw
Favorite Songs:- All Dressed In Love
- Spotlight
- My Heart

The Truth
Even though i love their 2 singles, they never actually made me want to listen to their album, but for some reason, one day i downloaded it just to check. It's a good album, but that's it. I think that there's something missing on these girls...
Favorite Songs:- I Ain't Trippin'
- Amnesia
- Killa (Feat. Yung Joc)
- Notice

Robin Thicke
Something Else
I clearly remember reading a review somewhere when the album came out that said something like this "don't take the tittle of the album as a sign that he changed up his style and did something else, different" and that's it. it's pretty much the same of what we got on "The Evolution Of Robin Thicke", and still, "The Evolution Of Robin Thicke" is a better album. Maybe it's just because i judged the album just by the single and the tittle and i got a little disappointed with it. In fact, it was going to be lower here, but after i read Reeces' Review, i gave it another chance by listening to the songs separatedly and it kinda grew on me a little. But still it's the same deal of J-Huds album, you have to be in the right mood for it.
Favorite Songs:- Magic
- Sidestep
- The Sweetest Love
- Tie My Hands (Feat. Lil Wayne)

Girlicious
I never actaully saw their show (never remembered to see it or wanted to enough to remember. lol), but it was given the kind of music they would do and i was waiting to hear it, i was curious, Like Me was good even though it never got me addicted to it, but the album was kinda disappointing. There are like 3 great songs that can get stuck on your head for a while that would be some kind of hit, but the other ones are average
Favorite Songs:- Baby Doll
- Liar Liar (Feat. Flo Rida)
- Do About It
- Here I Am

Mariah Carey
E=MC²
Disappointment number 2 of the year. After such a masterpiece like TEOM was, what do you always expect? Another masterpiece and it has to be better than the previous one. Guess What? Fail. Touch My Body was a HUUUUUUUUUGE letdown but i was still excited about the album and after seeing the Migrate performance on SNL i was blown away, but when the album leaked, i was REALLY disappointed. Even though she tried to record a clone of TEOM, in fact for every song on E=MC² you can find a very similar one on TEOM, but it didn't work. I must've listened to this album entirely only like 3 times. Nothing screams big hit on the album, and nothing was because nothing is memorable enough, TMB only managed to go well because it was the first single that everyone was waiting for after a brilliant era. But there are no powerful ballads like Mine Again or catchy like We Belong Together. Bye Bye is decent, yet forgetable, the other ballads are boring, the great club banger wasn't released and the other ones get old or sick really quickly... All except for the ones i listed bellow.
Favorite Songs:- Migrate (Feat. T-Pain)
- I Stay In Love
- Cruise Control (Feat. Damian Marley)
- Oh wait! I don't remember any other song to put here...
