Things to keep in mind:
Things tend to fall into 2 alliances (in previous seasons), but more than 2 alliances is also a possibility.
Alliances can change over time.
You can be part of an alliance but act on your own. Meaning, you may plan one thing with your alliance but really do another (because the voting is done to me in PM form, you have a pretty good chance at not blowing your cover...should that be part of your strategy).
People who have played before may be assets when it comes to strategy...or not.
For alliances, strength may come in numbers, but big alliances have their own complications too as the game goes on.
