The Tallest Man On Earth is the stage name of the Swedish artist Kristian Matsson. I was first introduced to his music after listening to "1904" on KEXP song of the day, which then ranked at 15 on my 2012 YECD. Then I checked a couple more songs from this album on youtube, which I also liked, so I decided to give the whole album a try. Overall, I found it quite enjoyable, particulary during winter days as many of its songs have just the right feeling of melancholy and nostalgia. Good stuff!

#15. Washed Out - "Paracosm" (2013)

I heard a lot about this band last year, and there were some songs from them that I remember enjoying that year. In 2013, I listened to their song "It All Feels Right"; which I played on repeat for quite some time. I loved its atmosphere, and so I checked their album. Overall the first tracks on the albums are my favorites. I hope to hear more from them next year.[B]

#14. Hibou - "Dunes" [EP] (2013)

The only EP of this ranking comes thanks to the 19-year-old musician Hibou, whose dreamy sounds of his EP hypnotized me from the very first listen. Just to give you the heads up, one of the tracks from here is going to be one of my favorite songs of this year.

Me pasa lo mismo con "Paracosm" y "Holy Fire" que tienen tremendo temazos, pero el álbum termina cayendo mucho en algunas canciones.
En ese top 3 de Foals debió estar "Milk & Black Spiders", tremenda canción. <3
