Kelly Clarkson "My December" album has leaked - Page 9

eh...this album seems kind of pretentious, kind of like she's saying "here, i'm going to strip all of the production away so all of you can pay attention to how great my lyrics are and how deep i am and what my troubles and depressions are". kelly clarkson isnt a gifted enough musician or songwriter to pull off a cd like this, i am embarassed for her. i dont want her to fail, but this album will bomb and i hope she learns from it. she takes herself too seriously.

and remember when making an album
the first priority is
"will my fans will love it?"
"will it sell?"

that's the purpose of every album

BUT "my december" is a grower after 3 times listening to it i like all the tracks except "one minute"

I mean by Vocal Arrangement. and now "Haunted" is starting to sound like a mix of "Addicted" & "Hear Me", too of the greatest songs off "Breakaway" . It needs to be a single with the darkest video she has ever done.

you no wut i hate. everyone thats sitting here and complaining about how she isnt a good writer and she needs to use the formula. but had she used the formula u same people would be like she is in it for the money blah blah. had she made a breakaway part 2 you guys would trash it and say it sounds the same.

Im agree with you on everything, except that "Umbrella" has a meaningful concept

"My December" rocks, but, cause someone said I wasnt good or commercial (whatever...), and TV spread the bad rumors, everybody thinks the same.....

so its not a 'radio friendly' album.. get over it! She's good no matter what, just because you cant bop to it on your favorite Hit's! Radio station, doesn't mean you can't just listen to it on your ipod at any given time, or put the CD in your car stereo, or one at home... unless you enjoy those DJ's playing the same ****** songs over and over! Radio is dead to me personally, I loveD "Umbrella" until radio killed it.

This CD is raw and real, and by far my favorite track is the last one "Irvine/Chavis"... im sorry, but not many people could pull off this CD, and I am so proud of her, for NOT caving in to Clive Davis.

We all can honestly say, this will not do "Breakaway" sales, FAAAAR from, but it's what she wanted to do, and I give her credit, and I am glad she wasn't a pushover. This shows us also, how producers or Managers push until they get their way. so how do we really know all the artists out there, are doing what THEY want, but are run as puppets. That's why I have all my respect to Kelly Clarkson.
