ARTPOP will bring 400k minimum first week whether you girls like it or not. Prism's 287k is great considering selling albums isn't her forté and Roar was such a worldwide, culturally impacting hit

The difference between Katy and Gaga is that Gaga has more HC fans which will definitely buy album on its first week of release and Katy has more casual fans which will buy album whenever they feel like it so in the end Katy keeps winning

Katy is coming from a smash era, Gaga from a 'flop' era. Katy's single far bigger than Gaga's. Katy had Walmart promoting her album with a nonstop commercial (even better than a Target deal). She had a radio deal that made radio stations across the nation play her songs 5 times per hour. Her album should be doing better first week numbers than Gaga all things considered.
