So it came out in June and I'm just discovering it now but OMGGGGG, what kinda dance-pop SLAYAGE is this? This is right up there with 'FEEL' as J-Pop album of the year. Like the production is top notch stuff. Who else has heard this heavenly album?

I'm sure they could be "international", but they should go for a less obvious "wannabe international" sound and discover a more intimate and original sound. I know I'm really just talking like an observer and not as someone who actually knows the artist, but I do believe they have potential, too. I'll be more interested in the overall direction they go in!

I agree with what you're saying. It's not an original sound and it does seem a little bit forced, but this is only their first single. I'm not quick to make judgement until the future, and just because she's a friend doesn't mean I'm biased to reality, although I am stocked and happy for her. Hopefully they find a sound that is more organic because they honestly already have the appeal, hands down.

I would love to, but I'm studying Japanese myself, but more of a "freelance" way. I'm only up to "introductions" and the common phrases, I haven't even gotten past verbs yet...
