Yes, Beyonce was there changing a few words in the songs occasionally while Rihanna executive produces her album by picking the singles, deciding what producers she wants to work with, her sound for the record, what songs make the final tracklist, etc. People always forget that Rihanna was an executive producer on her last four albums.

Yes, she co-wrote Schoolin' Life for instance. Recently she co-produced Bow Down. So she didn't just do the vocal arrangements and add the chords, but she helped Hit-boy create the track by adding different elements and sounds to the song. Maybe do some research.
