that's awesome..but you should have showed a happy face for Miranda!! you will learn that you will win some and loose some...it took her A LONG TIME to get where she is!! its ok to be disappointed, but put on a happy face for the winner. and remember who coached you on the voice..her husband!! you are an awesome artist...but it takes time!!!
Yes Follow your Arrow is doing pretty good on Itunes. Hopefully Country radio could eat up this song and become her biggest hit of her career which it rightfully deserves
So I just "rediscovered" this girl. I had heard Merry Go Round but I didn't really like it and I didn't get all the hype around her, thought she was overrated.
Her Follow Your Arrow performance at the CMAs, however, was incredible. And I loved the message of the song. Right from the first two lines ("If you save yourself for marriage you're a bore...") I knew it was gonna be epic.
Anyway. So long story short, I'm a big fan now. Her album is seriously good. Glad she won BNA, I love FGL but they already had enough other awards.
She cowrote 2 songs on Deana Carter's album that came out last month, if anybody cares.
Also, I think it's about time that they cut their losses with FYA and move on to Silver Lining. FYA isn't even top 50 on country radio, and it apparently hasn't gotten any new adds since mid December.
