The clothing someone wears is irrelevant, but calling the anti-fur activists out by saying its "petty" is a bit nonsensical considering that animals are skinned alive to acquire their fur.

I'm not a vegetarian, and I made that metaphor because the reason people become vegetarians is because they generally disapprove eating animals. And eating an animal =/= wearing fur because you can survive without the latter, eating meat is a necessity.

Really now, my problem lies not with the fact that GaGa wore fur, but because of the fact that she was seen as a celebrity anti-fur activist, only to stop having that belief for one reason or another. It comes off as contrived, imo.

At any rate, it's best to continue this argument out of this thread.

A lot of what Joan said is meant to be funny and I don't think she meant anything ill by it. Even the nose comment seems like a joke being that her face is practically melting and she knows it.
