We're gonna DIE YOUNG is just obvious, there's no "slight difference". Nobody is really going to sit in their cars or jobs and decipher every song as to what could possibly be offense. Let's drop "OMN" faster since the kids didn't get another night to live, or "I Cry" cause a whole bunch of people were probably crying. It's unfortunate for Ke$ha, but is absolutely the right thing.

Right. Related to the attack. Dying young easily relates to 20 five to ten years-old being shot to death. You'd be forcing every other possible song at the moment, because it is not as broad of an attack on the level of 9/11.
Besides this is probably happening out of DJs' mutual respect, not due to a nationwide sweep on inappropriate songs by Clear Channel. Like you said, it should stabilize soon enough after the media of this all dies down.

That was quite different, seeing that the blacklist after 9/11 was made by Clear Channel and had very little to do with a radio DJ's own judgement, which seems to be the case with Die Young.

We're gonna DIE YOUNG is just obvious, there's no "slight difference". Nobody is really going to sit in their cars or jobs and decipher every song as to what could possibly be offense. Let's drop "OMN" faster since the kids didn't get another night to live, or "I Cry" cause a whole bunch of people were probably crying. It's unfortunate for Ke$ha, but is absolutely the right thing.
