It's true that Christianity makes up only 33 percent of the world population but it's still the largest religious denomination in the world. And Jesus Christ is recognized even in other religions. He is considered a prophet in Islam, Manichaeism and Bahá'í Faith, an enlightened one in Buddhism, and a master by the New Age movement. So it isn't true that Jesus is entirely local to Christianity and to the Western World.

Shows your lack of cultural education. Jesus is a holy prophet in Islam. Which easily adds a billion more to the equation since Islam is the worlds second biggest religion. Even the Buddha and Ghandi has acknowledged him. Among other philosophers.

Also for obvious reasons agnostics and atheists know of him. Also many more people have heard of Jesus do to living in a Eurocentric world. So I can easily say well over half of the worlds population has heard of him.
