A cop-out

He didn't
have to say any of this if he didn't want to
Can't people just be glad that a masculine gay guy says that whatever sexuality you are he'll accept you. ISNT THAT THE POINT OF IT ALL, TO HAVE SEXUALITY BECOME A NON-ISSUE IN SOCIETY, TO JUDGE PEOPLE BASED ON THE THINGS THEY DO, NOT THEIR SEXUALITY
And because he worded it wrong it's now a "cop out"? I would
love if my gay friends could hang out with my straight friends and understand that a persons sexuality has nothing to do with who they are as a person. Instead they don't even give them the light of day because they're gay.
I'd love if everyone could adopt the same mentality that he has, sexuality shouldn't be the sole reason to become friends with somebody, people shouldn't be judged on their sexual choices, judge them for who they are as a person. You guys are
trying to find things to tear this guy down for instead of just being grateful yet another person has broken down their preconceived notions on gay people.
