Sonically "Marry the Night" is probably my favorite single from 'Born This Way'. The instrumental to the song is just beautifully crafted. The chorus is nice and the lyrics are good for a Gaga song. I haven't been ON Lady Gaga in a hot minute even though I used to be a huge fan but I enjoy this direction and I hope she pursues it with 'Artpop'. I'm sad that this song flopped to the pits but eh what can you do.

Part of Me - Katy Perry
A lot of people drag this song but I actually like it. The concept is cute and it's just a really catchy tune imo. The music video is really good as well. There isn't really much more too say...

One More Night - Maroon 5
"One More Night" is really a great song. It's just that it was SO overplayed by the end of it's run And it spent like 67 weeks at number one somehow? Overexposure ironically ruined this song for me and now I can't even stand to listen to it anymore. Listening to it right now while trying to right this blurb makes me want to puke. Literally.
While 'Channel Orange' is undoubtedly one of the best releases of the year, I have never been heavily into the classical kind of R&B approach the album takes and thus I couldn't rank it super high. I do love the album however. Frank has an amazing voice and the lyrics really do paint a picture on each of the songs on the album. The album gets a little monotonous and boring to me during some of the slower songs but all of the songs have a standout moment like when Frank screams "pleasure!" in the last verse of "Pink Matter". Overall the album is great and definitely made me a fan and I can't wait to see what he has to offer in the future. Oh and "Pyramids" is like the best song ever.
