I can't at some people talking about this as if we're waiting to see our fav's record sales. This is people's lives we are talking about if Romney wins millions will lost their private insurance, if a. 13 year old gets raped and is impregnated she will not be able to get an abortion if he has his way. He wants not only to stop gay marriage but to also appoint judges who may ban it for the entire country including places where it's already legal. He wants to make it so that medical marijuana is no longer available, and he wants to lower everyone's taxes but get rid of tax breaks except for the ones that the rich benefit from like capital gains while also increasing defense spending by 2 trillion. This man is ludicrous and I can't see how anyone in their right mind could support him.

To be fair, you're sensationalizing the power the president actually has.

People need to care this much about their REPRESENTATIVES.

During the next 4 years there is a possibility that a few supreme court judges will step down and he will be able to appoint new ones. The only hope we have is the Senate stopping all the crazy **** the right wants to do but where will that put the country? in a worse place than we are now that's for sure.

Edit: oh and I do care about my representative as well but he's winning by like 8 points and I already voted for him so he cool.

I live in the steadfastly blue state of Maryland, so my Presidential vote is useless. However, I will definitely be at the polls to vote YES on the all-important Question 6.

I personally can't with all these people everywhere telling everyone to make sure you vote to get your voice heard. "No matter what, make sure you get out and vote! Vote, vote, vote!" That's all well and fine, I want everyone to be able to vote, of course, but not if they aren't educated on what they're voting for.

If you have no idea about either candidate's policies or you're just going to vote for someone because your friends or family are, please stay home. It scares me that people could be that ignorant and millions of people could be affected by the voting of misinformed or uninformed people.

This is a great post. I completely agree. I don't even like to talk about politics with people because there's potential for coming across a "low information" voter and I just don't have the patience to endure that kind of discussion. I don't care if you back a candidate I disagree with, but atleast be educated about the partisan ideology you support. There's too much at stake to play games with the electorate.

Yes let's makes the economy better by taking tax deductions away from the middle class and cut government programs and education because the rich will use the money they save to create jobs and not just put it in the Cayman Islands. When has a business ever hired someone because they had the money sitting around and not because they needed more people for the business. The middle class needs to be build not brought down and the rich definitely don't need anymore help. When even Republican economists are saying his plan won't work there is a problem. He doesn't have a good plan it just doesn't work.

because it's a well known fact that when more people vote the Democrats tend to win. Go on YouTube you can find many speeches from Republicans themselves backing up that statement also that is why we are seeing more voter suppression tactics such as cutting hours to create huge lines that people have to take off work just to vote.

I hate when things like this are published.
It scares me that someone might see it and think oh, Obama is going to win
so I don't have to go vote. Then suddenly the results come in and
the other guy won because everyone got too confident.
