The Femme Fatale ERA still produced a #1 album, #1 single, three top 10s, a $70million grossing tour, alongside extending and setting countless records for Britney as well as receiving a Video Vanguard Award for her achievements to pop culture with her videos! Let's not forget how Britney earned $58million in the era making her the highest earning female artist of 2011-2012, 14 years into her career! The era was a hit!

Beyoncé has topped multiple genre related charts while Britney has not so I don't understand their comments especially since they love to say Britney started "Urban Pop"

LMAO, I feel sorry that you people have to weak points that you have to resort to "racism" in order to try to justify saying a genre chart means more than the Hot 100, for instance.
No matter what you say - feel free to report - the R&B chart isn't even more important than the Mainstream one, hence the latter having more weight on the most important chart aka the Billboard Hot 100 Singles than the other.

3 top 10, one of them number 1, Britney pushed S&M to be number 1, good sales from the tour, 1.7 million albums, No shade, but if FF is a flop, what is BIonic???? you can put those 2 in the same level, so FF is not a flop, really guys

For R&B artists, the R&B charts >>>>> Mainstream chart. The Urban community doesn't use dance-pop like the queens on ATRL do.
If a song reaches #1 on the R&B charts, then it's obviously a hit.

Um... Hit singles, flop album, so I don't know what to say. But tbh, the singles majorly under performed in places like the UK, where she didn't even have ONE top 5 single and only had ONE top 20 hit, and she's always been successful in the UK. "I Wanna Go" didn't even chart in the UK. And IWG was only really a success in the US, and it didn't even sell that much, to pop star standards. And HIAM went to #1 in the US but didn't even go 2xPlatinum did it? And that's just shocking. So even if the singles charted well, it doesn't mean they were successes. TTWE was such a wicked song and it wasn't THAT successful. People only regard it as successful because everyone thinks it'll played lots at the end of 2012, and IT WILL, but it doesn't mean it was a HUGE single like everyone makes it out to be. I love Brit, but this was pretty much a flop era. Not even platinum album in the US...

The album sales are awful but the 3 top 10 hits make up for it so...........HIT.

Oh here we go talking about SINGLES again. One form of success as Rico stated earlier. And I'm not referring to certain eras but in general Beyoncé has topped more genre related charts. If the shoe was on the other foot Britney stans wouldn't always try to discredit everything that isn't The Hot 100.

About the Top 5 hit thing - HIAM would've went top 5 here if it had a full first week of sales. It only had like 4 or 5 days.................
But who cares if the singles underperformed/flopped in the UK anyway?
It's so annoying how people act like the UK is the only place outside the US.
And HIAM & IWG sold just fine considering the airplay and promotion they had, while TTWE sold GREAT. Let's not act like it had Katy Perry sized airplay or promotion, it had only 98 Million airplay yet has sold over 2.7 Million in the US. How is that not great for an artist that started her career before the digital era in 1998?
And if TTWE isn't THAT successful would you say songs like Blow Me is? Because TTWE performed better than that globally. Just saying...........

And no one said anything about race.
If an R&B album tops the R&B chart and the R&B songs top it for multiple weeks at a time then that is a hit. Same goes for Country albums and Country songs. It is simple logic....for some.

The Beyoncé Urban community clearly do, since they were just mentioning her #1s on the Dance chart and the non-existent #1s on the Pop chart.
And I never said the R&B chart isn't "important", don't twist my words, please. My point was Hot 100, Digital and Worldwide - aka GENERAL chart, which means compiled by every single genre one - are much, MUCH more important and competitive than the genre charts, and if you're smart enough to read, you will notice that.
Also, if you know anything about charts, you know the Mainstream one is the biggest and the much more difficult place to succeed than the other genre charts. However, even if you decide to ignore that as well, Britney did reach #1 on her "genre" charts, so there you go: genre #1s + general #1s >>>>> genre #1s - "Femme Fatale" wins again.

With the exception of Anthony K all the other Britney stans in here now were saying in SYG awhile back that most of the singles from FF weren't really "hits" because the sales and longevity weren't great. Interesting how these stories are changing now. Can someone grab the quotes? :
