The one that got nominated for 9 grammys and won a one of them. The one that has critically acclaimed singles and put european dance pop on the radio, the one that has quality music.....
I would check again, there's a reciepts thread if you care to look.
She's an American superstar. And even so her album sales here haven't been that remarkable. She just had a lucky streak with those singles.
GGGB, on the other hand, was popular worldwide. Most notably with Umbrella which is a new pop classic.
Katy's big here this time around and shes cute but you can't say any of her singles are like already new classics. They're just popular and she just got lucky.

The only ones I would say are classics out of her entire catalogue are California Gurls and Firework due to do the fact that they apply very well to a specific event/season. I was going to say I Kissed A Girl but that's more controversial than actually a classic.

not remarkable? she outsold every other pop gurl(excluding adele)
and i wouldnt call 8 straight hit songs lucky though, she's a force and we know it.

She was lucky. There's nothing especially phenomenal about what she does or releases. It's just popular. If she still smashes with her next album than i'll say shes a force.
