Most of those extra sales got tacked on the following year. Anybody who bought the bonus version of TFM also bought The Fame.

2005 - 1 million
2006 - 3 million
2007 - 4 million
2008 - 4 million
2009 - 3 million
2010 - 4 million
2011 - 4 million
2012 - .5 million
Approximate figures per year, how is that not consistent?

That is true but out of every Popstar listed in the OP Rihanna has had the most topsy turvy career.

My fav going from Born This Way to Judas is inconsistent. All you gotta do is admit it sis and move on.

Well its the norm for her...she may not keep the same momentum but you do know that when she's at the top she won't be next time

it sold 3 million with the help of the "massive" WFL, YD1, TTT, and BC. That's only 1.3 million per single, not consistent

Beyonce's mainly an R&B singer although she does a few pop tracks so I could see if the OP would cite difference of genres.
No worries.Beyonce DOES have the catalog and Gaga does have consistency.

AGLM sold 3.5 million and spawned 3 top 10 hits before she had even hit it big and TTT is at 2.5 million with a 10-week #1 and it's not even close to done - those did not flop.

No. Music Of The Sun didn't sell 1 million in one calender year. I'm sure the rest are wrong, too. A lot of those are total sales.. not how much she sold within the first year of the albums release.
Like, really? Rated R selling 3 million in one calender year?

Even her first two singles were very up and down.
Pon De Replay - 2
If It's Loving That You Want - 36

YDO was overshadowed by WFL, TTT still hasn't been given any legitimate push, and BC is not a single.

I still don't see any supporting facts that Rihanna is the most important pop star since 2005.

Not just RR smart one, GGGB was still selling in 2009, as was AGLM.

Beyonce is mainstream with an R&B background and influence, but she is definitely mainstream.

Everyone is here to read the preachings of Mazen on the legend in the making, the one and only, Rihanna.
