I don't understand how 3 years ago she had enough common sense to know going back to him IN ANY SENSE OF THE WORD was wrong, yet she can #BRRRAP #JAHBLESS & all that jazz to the thought of it today. Girl BYEEEEEE! So what they aren't dating. As the meltdowns & criticism suggests, she's still condoning SOME form of reconsiliation by doing this. And for WHAT? To be the most searched girl on google this week? I'm praying for the spiritual and intellectual salvation of those of you who are too dumb and/or blind and/or bias to see the shade of it all. I guess if Ike Turner were still alive we could expect a reunion tour with Tina? Private Dancer Pt 2....?

Never.
The Private Dancer era proved that she was over that phase of her life.

Even if they aren't currently together, this is a step in that direction. But we know how the "ex's" game goes. I'd be surprised if Karroachie is still in the picture by the 3rd single of FORTUNE tbh.

Honestly, I'll only focus on her music but not much in her persona (I'm kinda losing respect for it tbh)

TUTM is the better of the two. She would have been better off doing a solo extended version. Or a female feature. Like, if you're gonna reunite with the BIGGEST topic of your career on a song, WHY in the world would it be Birthday Cake? I kiiiiiiiiiii thinking about her tweet "Music heals the world....we need more of it". What world is Birthday Cake healing ma'am? Discuss.

If it was an emotional forgiveness song it would be better, but a song about getting ****ed in the worst way? Hot mess. Cake isn't healing her face that's for sure.

I have never seen this interview before, but what she said is so hypocritical.
She clearly has no respect for her fans..

!
A damn shame, really. I'm surprised so many people do not get the magnitude of what these two just did.

I didn't want to comment about this on twitter last night because it was a damn mess, so while my timeline was going ape **** on this girl + on the remixes, I was there all silent watching them tweets...
Now, my thoughts are simple. This girl went to the States being practically a child, met stardom so fast, worldwide popularity, success, money, and everything that a person would ever dream of, being a kid.
She has been working like a grown person she was an adolescent and had no space left to make mistakes and say **** and screw things up and learn from her fails because the public eye has always been on her, as with every other pop star, waiting there ready to judge.
I won't judge her actions, probably, not even herself is sure of what the hell she's gonna do/say tomorrow... Or maybe she is. But I'm sure I don't support her decision, I respect Chris Brown as an artist, as a person, all I can say is that what he did cannot be justified under any circumstance; and at the end of the day,Rihanna will get all the attention she was craving + her hits songs.
I highly doubt that either Chris or Rihanna stopped and stared the situation or the consequent negativity that this would brought up, because I also highly doubt that they even care.

yeah, Rihanna is a mess for this. What kids/teenagers will do is either love/hate this? The ones that see no issue will stick with the idea that they are both over it so what's the big deal. As you get older, you realize that there is much more to it than that. It is a desperate attempt for publicity and it is quite sad.
Rihanna is not a real rebel and this is a slap in the face of true rebels. This makes no statement and it is quite sad that she would play this game with her fans.
Anyways, what's done is done. Will be interesting how this plays out.

I don't see how its hypocritical. She made a song with him and is probably friends with him, she's not publicly dating him and probably will never date him again.
I don't look at becoming friends, the same as rekindling romance. It's different situations.

Because like it or not, millions of people are paying attention to you, trying to be as cool as you, attempting to find love in a hopeless place and wondering if it's okay to walk down the same dark alleyway twice. Young girls look up to people like you to guide them through circumstances too complex for them to tackle on their own, and by granting Chris Brown an iota of tolerance, you implicitly encourage others to consider doing the same.
"With great power comes great responsibility" is a schmaltzy sentiment, but it's fitting here -- like it or not, you have a different level of power than most of us schmoes because of your pop superstardom, and a different level of responsibility in your personal life than in your music because of the tabloid-infected culture we live in. It's a burden that is not fair to you, or anyone in pop culture, but it's one you have to accept.

So they can't live separate lives and still be somewhat friends?!
When they were dating they were kids just coming of age. They built a friendship throughout that relationship that was probably stronger than any punishment they could have given Chris. I bet had he we went to jail she'd a snuck off to visit.
I don't think they'd ever get back together but I bet you they can look back on lighter times and laugh about some of the things that went wrong and say "We were young".
EVERYONE goes through it. She didnt lie. She's not back with him. They're mocking you all. Not in a **** you kinda way.But they're still friends.
