With a new song, they need a show with a large audience...not something like HDNet...
Wasn't the first ever California Gurls performance to a hall full of critics/reporters/boring people? I seem to remember watching a Youtube video of Katy performing to a bunch of people sitting still on seats staring at her. There were fans behind them, but the front few rows were still throughout the performance?
I'm pretty sure that was before the first televised one, the MTV movie awards.
Either way, not getting my hopes up for this performance. The best I'm hoping for is a CG/TD/FW/ET medley.
