I don't hate her. I kinda liked her music, and then she just got too much for me on radio/music channels on TV. Her music sounds pretty similar to a lot of music out there. I just don't use it.
I am also confused as to how Katy acts. She named her album "Teenage Dream" and has been acting like a child in her interviews, and then came along Kathy Beth Terry for LFN promotion. She is 27. Some argue that she is enjoying life, but I don't see how creating a 13 year old persona for business purposes is "enjoying life".
Because she's actually trying to break MJ's record by releasing a 6th single from her album.

If you compare Gaga with Katy before their last era, Gaga had 7 singles released, while Katy had only 4! Where's your point on Gaga's sales! This Year Katy slayed hard, and even you like it or not, having 5 #1's is something and the last one who did this "something" was the King of Pop! I remember everytime your favs went #1... As has already been said several times, it comes down to jealousy. People were fine with Katy until she got a solid grip on their fave's wig.

I know it was a marketing thing, but it was kinda the cherry on top that pushed me over the edge for the whole era. She shouldn't have gone out and made an album designed for 13 year olds, imo. She could have taken a whole 'nother business route.

and yet BTW and TD almost sold the same amount despite the latter is released like a year ago.

average of 3,399,087 per single (without YAI)
katy has average of 3,573,100 per single
the difference is not big at all, while YAI still on top 10 itunes.
gaga total album sold 7,838,882
katy total album sold 3,131,929
that's more than double, that's what matter.

Her music is stupid and all she cares about is money and hits.
