As it spends a third week atop Billboard's Adult Pop Songs radio airplay chart,
Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" claims the mark for most weekly plays (4,780) in the Nielsen BDS-based list's 15-year history. (the second most played song being 4,435, "Raise Your Glass," by P!nk, on Jan. 22, 2011. All 90 reporters on the Adult Pop Songs panel played the song in the chart's May 9-15 tracking week, an average of 53 plays per station. As it reigns atop Adult Pop Songs, "Deep" scores Airplay Gainer honors on Pop Songs, where it climbs 6-3, and Adult Contemporary (13-9).
"Deep" concurrently bows at No. 34 on the Rhythmic airplay chart, marking a rare appearance on the survey for a song with rock elements. Having previously topped the Triple A adult alternative ranking for 14 weeks, "Deep" is just the fourth song by a solo female to have showed on Triple A and Rhythmic. The previous three charted more than a decade ago: Alanis Morissette's "Ironic" and "You Learn" (1996) and Natalie Imbruglia's "Torn" (1998).
