Actually, he is more well known here for his leud ways with starlets than for his politics. Us Europeans are very well educated. It annoys me that people assume we don't know stuff.
That would be like me saying 'Diana was a princess that got killed in a car accident (murdered for you conspiracy theorists), for you Americans that don't know this stuff' to someone when DITD came out. It just doesn't need to be said.
