This is exactly what I want. Gaga can gain a new hip audience, gain respect for having a more "authentic" sound, and help shift music by pushing underground music elements more into the mainstream. Pop music is in shambles right now -- it REALLY needs change.
Pop music will never be low brow indeed... truly, honestly.
